The names have changed, yet Gerber Construction remains a family-owned company specializing in construction for commercial, industrial, food processing and residential. Our management personnel have been working together on different projects for 6-10 years respectively.

Jill Terryn - Owner / President

  • B.S. Construction Management - Ferris State University

  • Onsite construction experience with pre-engineered buildings and remodels

  • Professional experience in estimating, job costing, procurement, and financial projections

  • Customer service and oversight of day to day operations

 

Bill Terryn - Owner / Vice-President

  • 18 years of onsite experience in residential, commercial & industrial construction including supervision of employees and subcontractors, scheduling, material purchasing, bidding, and meeting with customers & architects and engineers.

  • Extensive construction supervision and work performed in Healthcare facilities.

  • Extensive construction supervision and work performed in Food Processing Facilities.

  • Certified in CPR, Powder Actuated Tools, Aerial Platform Lifts, Industrial Forklift, First Aid, Respiratory Protection, and Fall Arrest Training.

Kitt Jarzabkowski - Senior Project Manager

  • Graduate of Construction Management Program – Central Michigan University

  • Extensive Project Engineer and Supervior experience, including: Stephen M. Ross School of Business (Ann Arbor, MI), Elmhurst Memorial Hospital (Elmhurst, IL), SRF High Bay – FRIB Project – Particle Accelerator (Lansing, MI), UVA Neuroscience (Charlottesville, VA).

Bryan Brown - Project Manager

  • 24 years of experience with commercial and industrial building projects

  • Licensed builder for over 15 years, Custom Cabinet Maker

  • Major projects include Chemical Bank Cadillac, MOISD education projects, and West Michigan Credit Union Reed City

Keegan Brown - Project Manager

  • Experience with commercial, municipal, and institutional building projects

  • 17 years of construction experience including budgeting and estimating, scheduling subcontractors, distributing plans, obtaining permits, and field supervision

  • Major projects include Downtown Big Rapids Facade Renovation, Big Rapids Riverwalk Phase 3, Big Rapids Community Library Renovations, FSU - University Center Project, FSU – East Campus Housing Project

Jeremy Embrey - Project Manager
